Squamish Montessori School respectfully acknowledges that our school is located within the traditional territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation).

We recognize the enduring connection that the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh people have to these lands, waters, and community, and we are grateful for the opportunity to live, learn, and educate within this remarkable place.

As a Montessori school, we value respect, stewardship, and lifelong learning. We are committed to fostering an environment where students develop an appreciation for Indigenous histories, cultures, perspectives, and contributions, and where learning is guided by curiosity, understanding, and mutual respect.
